What actually happens in a class
Every session follows the same disciplined shape, whether a student is seven years old on a 3/4-size guitar,
or an adult picking the instrument up for the first time.
What You'll Need At Home
The right guitar makes practice possible.
♪ A properly sized guitar - 1/2 or 3/4-size for younger beginners, full-size from around age 10–11
♪ Fresh strings and a basic clip-on tuner, checked before every practice session
♪ 20–30 minutes of daily practice for Initial–Grade 3 students
♪ 30–45 minutes for Grade 4 and above, split across technique and pieces
♪ A practice log reviewed at the start of every class
